Parents/Guardians submitting bus registration via PDF can send their completed forms to our transportation department: transportation@lrcssd.ca.

Bus registrations submitted on or before August 23rd, will be guaranteed bussing for

school start up. Registrations received after this date may take up to two weeks to be processed.

All Kindergarten and Grade 1 students must have a valid annual bus pass, which will be issued by their school.

All students residing beyond 1-km from their designated school will qualify for bus service, regardless of grade level. 

Although the new Funding Manual for School Authorities will only fund bus service for students in grades 7-12 if they reside beyond 2-km’s, Lakeland Catholic will still provide bus service for all students, if they reside beyond 1-km. 

Routes are designed using the closest and safest pickup/drop off locations (such as, designated school bus zones, far side of crosswalks, or far side of intersections). Bus transportation does not accommodate door-to-door service.

Parents will receive notification of their child’s route information prior to the commencement of the school year.

Students should plan to arrive at their bus stop at least 5 minutes before the scheduled arrival time.
